Quintessentially Canadian. Barbara Bud, the host, is one-of-a-kind: quirky, light-hearted, satirical; yet a first-rate interviewer. The program devotes more time than usual to in-depth conversations with "newsmakers" from around the world—a welcome change from the ever-shortening interviews on other news programs—save, perhaps, the BBC.
