recently saw OFFSIDE in UTV WORLD MOVIES. hilarious.deserves to be top 20 Iranian movies.also saw recently the children of heaven, a separation, about
elly, the white balloon, the Mirror,the colour of Paradise,the stranger,father(is it Pader)

It is called “Shirin” (2008), Kiarostami’s production. It is simply a parade of close-ups of 113 Iranian actresses and also French star Juliette Binoche, who are watching a film which we never see.

some time back i saw a little clip about a movie in which a young girl who live in iran do not like basic rules for women in iran. she played a sort of rebel in the movie who do not like to wear scarf on her head & also don’t like other traditional things. i don’t know the name of the movie. can someone help me ??????

well i was surprised when I saw such a good list of my country’s best movies,by the way for those who want to watch more Iranian movies I suggest to watch ” the separation ” not just because it won a lot of awards,no,but because it talks about the reality of Iran, I mean the challenges among past, present, future, tradition and religion.It is amassing. Don’t miss it:)

senura: AS an iranian, enjoyed your coment! I don’t know where are you from…india or not…but i have aspiration to present my country, my dear iran to people from other countries…Mutually enjoy to know about other countries…i think watching movie might be the best way to touch the life the feeling the pain of people from different race and different language and remember this fact although people are different in language or culture or apearance, they have the same way of human being…i think movies? mostly foreign movies let us to feel the life more than our personal experiences and know the world much more than the circle of people around us…

Last night I watched heart touching movie “The stoning of Soraya M.” It was really awesom and amazing.
My best favorite movie was 3:10 to Yuma but now the stoning of Soraya M.

I would like to share some old movies name here, that is:
