The following are my bookmarks relating to useful software. Some point to sites that provide online or off line services, others lead to articles describing these software. The selection features general software (such as office tools) as well as specialized tools that are used by a smaller number of people. As often as possible, I have given small blurbs to indicate the nature of the software. Most of these are freeware and available totally free. Some of these are available in large number of universities and other offices and would be accessible at our workspaces.
The selection of softwares mentioned here would be of special interest to students.
